La Plagne Ski area is located in Vallee de la Tarentaise, belonging to the department of Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region.
There are more than 225 km of ski slopes. It belongs to Paradiski which gathers domaine des Arcs.
It is the second largest ski area in the world with 425 km ski slopes linked to each other, plus a glacier. 70 % of the ski area is 2000m above sea level !
La Plagne is a family ski station composed of different villages with different atmospheres : Plagne 1800, Plagne Centre, Plagne Village, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Bellecôte, Belle Plagne, Aime 2000, Montchavin, Champagny en Vanoise et Plagne Montalbert.
Free shuttle buses are available between all these villages.
You can go to La Plagne by car, by train with a station in Aime La Plagne and by plane with St Exupery airport ( LYON-France) and Geneva airport ( Switzerland )
